:
In this work, we will construct some of mathematical models that obey one of the recent theory of thermoelasticity. Through those models, we will study the heat conductive and mechanical waves when the elastic body is subjected to mechanical or/and thermal loading. The work will includes two models:first model is two-dimensional generalized thermoelasticity problem for a half-space subjected to ramp type heating. In this models, we will consider a half-space filled with an elastic material, which has constant elastic parameters. The governing equations are taken in a unified system from which the field equations for coupled thermoelasticity as well as for generalized thermoelasticity can be easily obtained as particular cases. A linear temperature ramping function will used to more realistically model thermal loading of the half-space surface. Laplace and Fourier transforms techniques will be used to obtain the general solution for any set of boundary conditions. Some comparisons will be shown in figures to estimate the effect of the ramping parameter of heating with different theories of thermoelasticity.The Second is two-temperature generalized thermoelastic infinite medium with cylindrical cavity subjected to moving heat source ,In this model we will deal with a problem of thermoelastic interactions in an isotropic unbounded medium with cylindrical cavity due to the presence of moving heat sources in the context of the linear theory of two-temperature generalized thermoelasticity with one relaxation time.The governing equations will be expressed and solved in Laplace transform domain. The inversion of the Laplace transform will be done numerically using the Riemann-sum approximation method.The resultsobtained will be presented graphically to show the effect of the heat source velocity and the relaxation time parameters on displacement temperature, stress and strain
